I had the pleasure of shooting with Mai of Mai Bahn Photography before we left Florida. Adrianna and Joe are probably the sweetest couple I have met! I spent a good amount of time with the groomsmen while they were getting ready and when I was waiting with Joe before the first look he told me he was a little nervous/excited. I told him that as soon as he saw his bride to be everything will feel so much more comfortable. After the first look, Joe told me he felt so much better. First looks are powerful people!
I learned so much when I got to work with Nadia of Nadia D Photography! This day was absolutely crazy! Not only was there an Indian wedding (which is quite the event I've come to find out), but it was also Halloween, the night of a Taylor Swift concert and a NHL Lightning game! I was there before the sun woke up to when the clock struck midnight. And just about every hour was filled with a new experience. By the time it was time to go home I was thisclose to collapsing, and what happens? The Mariott can't seem to find my giant Star Wars house key attached to my car keys and I ended up waiting on the valet for 3 hours :( Like I said, crazy day!
Special thanks to Stacy for letting me second shoot for her again! These are by far some of my favorite images. A beautiful bride, a handsome groom, farm fields. But, I think what really sealed the deal for me was the overcast cloudy weather. To me, thats magic! It just makes everything perfect. The light is just so yummy! (yes that's totally a thing) If every time I picked up my camera it could be like this I would probably die ;)
I am so thankful for Stacy from Stacy Paul Photography for letting me come out and see what a wedding was like as a photographer. It was so fun running around, preserving memories with a photograph that the couple either didn't get to experience or would have forgotten during the whirlwind of a day that was their wedding. Everything was so beautiful! I can't wait to get back out there and do it again!
Rachael and Lance had a small backyard wedding surrounded by loved ones. You could tell that they had gone through a lot to get to this point and everyone was beaming. After the typical first dances Rachael danced with her mom, and let me tell you, not a single dry eye anywhere! During the reception I was asked if I would be willing to take over the second shooter responsibilities. Uh yeah! These pictures were just a few I was able to snag on my phone.
I love taking pictures. Whether it is of people, animals or landscapes I am always running around trying to get the best shot. Just ask my husband, I am always annoying him with pictures ;).
