I am so thankful for Stacy from Stacy Paul Photography for letting me come out and see what a wedding was like as a photographer. It was so fun running around, preserving memories with a photograph that the couple either didn't get to experience or would have forgotten during the whirlwind of a day that was their wedding. Everything was so beautiful! I can't wait to get back out there and do it again!
I've always seen pictures like this and thought WOW! I figured it must require a whole bunch of equipment I couldn't afford and some magical know-how that I was missing. But, I figured I should try my hand at it anyway. I asked on Facebook if anyone would let me test out my theories with their horse. (Mine are a little too far away at this point) I got two responses, so I packed up my gear and went out experimenting.
This is Instant Karma aka Aries. I've actually had the pleasure of riding Aries quite a bit and loved getting to play with him in a new way. Thanks so much Dale for letting me capture such a special horse!
I am so glad I got to meet Piper. She is the nicest, sweetest soul. We ran around in the "woods" pretending it was an enchanted fairyland. The weather was absolutely perfect! Cloudy and just a little rainy. There are so many great images from this session! Get ready to see her face a bunch!
I don't know about you, but for me pets and animals make me feel complete. Being greeted at the door after being gone, even if only for 5 minutes, now thats love. The way Remy wags his tail when I say his name, or the way Albert always purrs and snuggles my face at bed time, priceless. Animals, to me, are members of the family. And I don't know what I would do without them.
Literally, right now as I am writing this Remy is having a dream, so he is howling in his sleep as he lays by the door waiting for Stephen to come home from work. Cue heart melting.
While we were walking around Apalachicola we stumbled upon this cute little shop with all of these beautiful bath products. Luxury in the bathroom is a little outside of my expertise so the lady behind the counter totally opened our eyes to what the store had to offer. Rose hand makes all of the lotions and soaps, and makes them all with herbs and essential oils fresh from the garden. The soaps with the sponge included totally intrigued us, and minty eucalyptus, how do you walk away from that?
No lie, I wasn't really sure how much of a difference I would notice from regular soap. Like I said luxury isn't really my speed. But let me tell you! Washing with this soap made around the sponge is totally cool! It's exfoliating, smells wonderful and is such a treat. I hope it doesn't run out soon, I'm hooked!
If you want some high quality soaps and lotions be sure to check out Rose's Botanicals!
This post is not sponsored. I just like the product.
